Your donation will keep art on the walls of shelters and senior residences

We brought artworks to shelters and senior residences. The residents chose the pieces they wanted on their walls.

Usually, people can host artworks in their homes for six months, then return them so someone else can enjoy them.

But in shelters and senior residences, it's different. We've decorated entire living rooms and dining rooms with works by our artists. If we take those works back, the walls will be bare again.

Here's what it costs to keep the art in place:

• Foam prints: $30–$50, depending on size

• Canvas prints: $50–$100, depending on size. They're sturdier and look better.

• Command strips to hang the prints: $25 per box

Your donation will help keep the artwork on the walls, where residents can enjoy the pieces they've chosen. Everyone should enjoy visual arts in their own environment. And these particular communities- they're not just bodies with physical needs- particularly enjoy being addressed as whole human beings with hearts and souls.
