Brooklyn-born and rooted in Red Hook, Red Hook Art Project provides free arts education, academic support, mentorship, and a place where young people feel seen, supported, and inspired to create.
Now, we’re growing and we’re inviting you to grow with us.
Our $100,000 campaign will support the buildout of our new art gallery while strengthening the programs, people, and everyday resources that make our work possible. This Giving Tuesday, your gift through Brooklyn Gives will help move this campaign forward and turn our community’s creativity into lasting opportunities.
Your investment makes possible:
A new gallery and learning space where students can exhibit and sell their artwork, curate shows, and learn about entrepreneurship, marketing, and managing an art space.
Free arts education and summer programming that give young people room to explore, build skills, and discover their voices.
Paid opportunities for emerging artists and teaching artists, helping young adults grow from program participants into mentors, educators, and creative leaders.
The daily essentials, art supplies, snacks, materials, and a welcoming studio that keeps our doors open and our students supported.
For our young people, these opportunities can mean seeing their artwork on a gallery wall for the first time, earning income through their creativity, or becoming the mentor they once needed.
