Our Story
At Woman Unsilenced, we believe healing is more than recovery; it’s the quiet revolution that happens when a woman begins to believe in herself again.
Our work was born from lived experience from women who have carried the weight of trauma, Justice or injustice impact, and silence, yet found the courage to rise and rebuild. We’ve seen what it looks like when someone reclaims her story: the mother who dares to dream again, the student who discovers her brilliance, the survivor who finally speaks her truth out loud.
We see them in our classrooms every day, women holding resumes in one hand and hope in the other, learning to code, to budget, to breathe again. Every click of the keyboard, every digital badge, every interview won is a flame lit against the darkness of doubt.
Because peace and purpose aren’t luxuries, they are birthrights. And when a woman remembers that truth, she begins to rise.
What We Do
Women are the heartbeat of Woman Unsilenced. Our mission is simple but powerful: to help women, gender expansive and their families reclaim their power through digital literacy, financial literacy and entrepreneurship, but first laying a foundation of healing. Through our Ready TECH Hire Pre-Apprenticeship and Junior Leadership Program, we equip trauma- and justice-impacted women, gender expansive, single parents, and youth with the tools to thrive in today’s digital economy. Participants earn industry-recognized credentials by building technical expertise through IBM SkillsBuild and essential soft skills through Repurpose Thinking, which prepares them to step forward with confidence, supported by community, and driven by purpose.
