The Parent-Child Relationship Association (PCR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening family relationships and promoting parent-child bonding. For more than seven years, PCR has been a pillar of the Brooklyn immigrant community, providing services, programs, and resources to families while engaging them in volunteer activities. During this time, we have helped over 40,000 volunteers and families build the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to thrive.

Each year, PCR brings families together through meaningful community programs that foster connection and a sense of belonging in Brooklyn. Our Annual Easter Celebration gathers over 2,000 parents and children for a day of joy, games, and family bonding. Our Back-to-School programs provide children and families with essential school supplies, helping them start the year with confidence. Our Park Cleanup volunteer events engage hundreds of residents in caring for neighborhood parks, creating a cleaner and safer environment for all. Additionally, our family education and cultural programs support over 1,000 families each year, giving children and parents opportunities to learn, grow, and celebrate together.

Many of the families we serve are new immigrants who are working hard to build a better life in a new country. PCR provides them with a welcoming space to connect, learn, and give back through volunteering. Our programs create shared experiences while fostering resilience, confidence, and hope across generations.
