NY Birth Control Access Project

The NY Birth Control Access Project (NYBCAP), is building and energizing an activist base for reproductive rights by investing in young people to expand access to birth control.

In our work, we present the realities of the reproductive health landscape in order to prepare a cohort of well-informed advocates, ready to hit the ground fighting. Since launching, we have trained more than 400 young people to become fierce, lifelong advocates for reproductive rights and birth control access, while simultaneously pushing through legislation and direct impact campaigns to increase access to birth control and break down systemic barriers to contraception. We offer young adults, who become Associate Board members, the opportunity to develop skills, join a pipeline to internships and jobs, and build connections for their careers.
