Join ICARE in the fight for justice!

Who We Are: ICARE is a coalition of legal advocates fighting for justice. We are dedicated to expanding access to legal representation for immigrant children facing deportation in New York City, while advocating for universal access to counsel.

The Challenge: Every year, over 2,000 children—some as young as infants - appear in immigration court in NYC without an attorney. These children are often escaping extreme violence and trauma in their home countries, searching forprotection and safety in the U.S

The Reality:

  • Without legal support, children stand a mere 17% chance of winning their case.

  • With ICARE attorneys, children have more than a 90% chance of winning their immigration case

Our Impact: Since 2014, we have

  • Screened over 14,000 children for relief

  • Represented over 3,00 children

  • Obtained relief for over 1,500 young immigrants

  • Secured over $24M in public funding for legal services

Our Mission: ICARE provides FREE legal services for immigrant children facing deportation in NYC. We offer know-your-rights training, legal screenings, direct representation and connections to city and social services. Our mission is to ensure that young New Yorkers do not have to face court alone.

Your Impact: With your support, ICARE can remain a vital resource for thousands of young New Yorkers, offering hope, guidance and justiceJoin us today in shaping a more compassionate and just future!
