The Brave House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting young immigrant women & gender-expansive youth, ages 16-24, in New York City, with a focus on survivors of gender-based violence. We provide free legal aid, community events, and holistic services within a container of joy, friendship, and resilience. This includes leadership training, employment and school assistance, support for new moms, mentorship opportunities, wellness events, and much more.

We support hundreds of immigrant women from over 40 countries living across the 5 boroughs of NYC and Long Island. Many are fleeing gender-based violence and seeking protection in the United States. At our core, we provide advocacy to fight for the rights and happiness of each of our members.
