Jeremiah Program is disrupting the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children, two generations at a time. We believe that when a mother invests simultaneously in her personal and professional goals and the education of her children, she can re-author her family’s outcomes and act as a change agent within her community.
JP launched in Brooklyn in 2017, partnering with other family resource providers in the community, while also offering JP’s unique program components for both moms and their children. The program serves single moms and their children experiencing poverty across all five boroughs of New York City. JP believes that no mother should have to choose between investing in herself and her child.
Our Core Pillars
JP’s
five core pillars are anchored by personalized coaching to form a holistic,
two-generational model.
The Jeremiah Program offers one of the nation’s most successful strategies for transforming families from poverty to prosperity two generations at a time. Jeremiah’s proven, holistic approach begins with establishing a supportive community for determined single mothers to pursue a career track college education. Through our quality early childhood education, career track college education, empowerment and life skills training, those in our care experience a community of support in which they can grow and see new possibilities for themselves.
